Each of the beautiful and differently designed rooms/suites of the Stadthaus Arnstadt is unique – this suite/family room, the Grand Baroque Room, was the Beletage of a princess's sister, who in 1697 had the building significantly expanded. The Grand Baroque Room faces east, south, and west, with views of the quiet, traffic-calmed parish courtyard and the early Gothic Upper Church, as well as a peace oak from 1871. To the west, the spacious room has its own arcade/loggia with a garden bench, table, and chairs overlooking the idyllic garden. Bright and sunny through 6 historic double windows and an additional small window, but also easy to darken. Period stucco, wooden floorboards, clay plaster regulating the room climate, wall heating. Larger library, art, large Biedermeier desk, round table with four chairs, Le Corbusier daybed, sofa. NO TV. Stable Wi-Fi. Kettle, selection of teas.
