This family-run hotel and restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy good food, a warm welcome and easy access to nature and culture. There really is a cannon on the premises – according to legend, it was left behind by General Napoleon Bonaparte himself! In the Jägerzimmer and the ‘Alte Stube’, wooden panelling and family photographs bear witness to the centuries-old tradition of this country inn. The heart and soul of the establishment are still family members today: Jana and Lars Sörgel, representing the seventh generation! The menu features typical Holzland dishes with a modern twist. The Kanonengarten, with its lounge terrace, is the perfect spot to relax.

Up to 30 days before arrival no charge. Up to 14 days before arrival 50% of the agreed total price for accommodation, with or without breakfast, 40% for half-board and 30% for full-board arrangements. Up to 1 day before arrival: 80% of the agreed total price for accommodation, with or without breakfast; 60% for half-board and 50% for full-board arrangements.

If cancellation is made on the day of arrival or not at all, the hotel is free to demand the contractually agreed payment and to apply a flat-rate deduction for expenses saved. In this case, the customer is obliged to pay at least 90 per cent of the contractually agreed price for accommodation, with or without breakfast; 70 per cent for half-board and 60 per cent for full-board arrangements. In the case of rooms not taken up by the customer, the hotel shall offset the income from letting the rooms to other guests as well as the expenses saved. The customer is free to provide evidence that the aforementioned claim has not arisen or has not arisen to the extent claimed.
